Read MoreNever ever had we imagined that a day will come when we would celebrate special days without a gathering at our quadrangle ground and stage performances, especially with our Sisters, teachers, students and friends, thus facing everything that we never expected to happen during this pandemic period.
But thanks to the technology, QACS has moved towards virtual media and celebrating in quarantine through work from home arrangements. Yes, a way to coordinate and make every jubilation a memorable one.
The drizzly morning of 16th July, poured our dear Sisters with surprise and overwhelming sentiments when a short video commemorating the Feast Day Celebration was posted online. It was meticulously planned and implemented by our QACS staff (Gujarati and English Medium) from their own homes. The programme began with invocation of God’s blessings through prayer service and dance. Later, a brief introduction of the day was given, followed by a sway and twirl by our loving teachers. The joy was wrapped with a bubbly song wishing all our beloved Sisters, ‘A very happy feast’. Truly, an amazing day!
International Yoga Day is an event celebrated throughout the world every year on June 21 since its dawning in 2015. The day, despite falling on a Sunday, kept our children on high pedestal, as they shared their photos in various yoga postures from home. Teachers too, added their contribution to discover the sense of oneness within them, the world and the nature.
